This place suits me perfectly! I love the free wi-fi, the nice seasonal outdoor pool, and the helpful 24-hour reception. I remember on my first stay, the staff assisted with money exchange. Highly recommend enjoying the pool.

pleasant room, clean facilities, lovely pool
The bathtub failed to drain properly, which was frustrating!!! Also, the bathroom layout had the sink in the bedroom, a rather awkward design. Lastly, the overwhelming perfume smell upon arrival did not set a great tone.

I found this place to be a wonderful base for a weekend getaway, as it offered easy access to nearby attractions like Canoe Meadows Wildlife Sanctuary, just under 2.5 km away, and an array of excellent dining options within a 1 km radius, making it super convenient for leisurely strolls to grab a bite.

The best part of my stay at the Berkshire Inn was the comfortable bed in my King Room. The room felt modern with decent furnishings. The bathroom was clean, though it did show signs of age. I appreciated the fridge and microwave for convenience. WiFi worked well too. However, I faced a few issues during my visit. There was a strange musty smell that lingered in the room, and the hot water was troublesome. I struggled to get a hot shower, which was disappointing. Breakfast wasn’t provided, just basic coffee. The location lacked appeal, being a bit off the beaten path. Overall, it’s a fair place considering the price, but it could use some updates and improvements.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, offering microwaves and fridges. While the outdoor pool was a nice feature, it could have been better maintained. Unfortunately, the walls were thin, leading to disturbances from neighboring rooms. Overall, it's a decent place if you're looking for a budget option.

missingWrote a review on 27 Julchemical smell
The cleaning products emitted an overwhelming chemical smell that lingered throughout the stay, despite attempts to air out the room. The bathroom posed safety risks with a very slippery floor and a noticeable lack of handrails by the shower and toilet, which could use immediate attention. Additionally, the absence of USB outlets was a hassle for charging devices.

Ideal for budget travelers
The beds were really comfortable like I could melt right into them, and the water pressure in the shower was just great, felt like I was washing off the day entirely. I even liked the fact that it was situated up off the road, traffic wasn't really a problem. It gave me a bit of peace when I needed it most.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Had a great time with friends using this place as our home base. We hit the slopes for downhill skiing and even did some golfing. The beds were super comfy, and the staff was friendly. Plus, it’s a good deal for the price. Just be ready for a basic breakfast.
The only downside was some funky smells in the bathroom, which made it a bit weird during our stay.

It was just a good pick for a date night in Pittsfield with great value-to-price ratio. The free continental breakfast was surprisingly good with plenty of options like eggs and sausage. Be sure to check if there's a room by the pool for a nice view.
